Copperleaf’s 2015 AIPM Summit brought together clients, prospects and partners from around the globe to discuss Asset Investment Planning and Management (AIPM) and the future directions of Copperleaf’s C55 solution. Hosted in Vancouver, BC from May 12-14, both Copperleaf and C55 clients led educational sessions and roundtable discussions on a variety of topics, including Value-based Decision Making, Program Analytics, the future roadmap of C55, and more.
This year, we introduced a new name, the AIPM Summit, to better represent what this conference is all about—building a stronger community to share ideas and best practices in Asset Investment Planning and Management. With that in mind, we added a number of peer to peer sessions called “Cool Things People Are Doing” where asset management experts from Manitoba Hydro, BPA, Hydro Ottawa and others shared their experiences and insights with C55 and AIPM in general.
Comments from attendees included:
“There was a perfect balance between learning more about the C55 roadmap from Copperleaf, and hearing how other organizations are using the application. The biggest highlight for me was the open sharing of knowledge, experience and ideas, which has given me better insight into the capabilities of C55 to bring back to my company.”
“I’ve been to other user group events before, but this is the first one where there’s really been a two-way flow of information. I really appreciate the openness and honesty of all participants, and it’s great that Copperleaf creates this forum for all of us to learn from one another, and gain more value from our investment in C55.”
“The meeting was both educational and engaging. It was great to meet people from other organizations who are facing similar challenges, and hear both Copperleaf and other clients discuss different approaches to capital planning. Sharing how we address things is definitely a benefit to all of us.”
The highlight for all of us here at Copperleaf, is getting to spend two days with our clients, listening to their challenges, feedback and ideas, and figuring out how to translate that into a better solution—and the best possible service—to meet their needs.
Next year’s conference will be held from May 10-12 in Vancouver. Stay tuned for more info. In the meantime, to learn more about the Copperleaf Community and the AIPM Summit, view the video.
