Recently, we welcomed PyLadies Vancouver to Copperleaf headquarters for an informal talk night! PyLadies is a meetup group that helps women take part in the Python programming language community. They welcome members from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences.
During the event, Judi Hess, our fearless leader, welcomed our guests and shared her journey from starting as a software developer to becoming the CEO of Copperleaf. Two of our developers, Serena Chan and Anna Leong, gave a short presentation on Condition Assessment, Copperleaf’s Python product. Python community members Seb Vetter, Holly Becker, and Julie Sturgeon also presented on public speaking, software licenses, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Over 20 members of the local Python community attended, as well as nearly 10 Copperleafers. Many thanks to the wonderful Copperleafers who were instrumental in organizing this event, as well as those who came and assisted our guests!
