Vancouver, BC, June 8, 2021—The Copperleaf® Decision Analytics Solution has been selected by Tasmanian Networks Pty Ltd (TasNetworks), an Australian electricity transmission and distribution company that serves over 295,000 customers throughout the state of Tasmania. TasNetworks facilitates the transfer of electricity between the Australian mainland and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector.

The Copperleaf Suite and its unique Value Framework will help TasNetworks improve its Asset Investment Planning and Management (AIPM) processes and enhance its decision-making capabilities to benefit the communities and industries it supports.

“We couldn’t be happier to bring in Copperleaf as our asset management partner,” said Nicole Eastoe, Asset Strategy and Performance Group Leader for TasNetworks. “Copperleaf will help us manage our assets and make the best possible investment decisions—that means more accurate Replacement Expenditure (REPEX) forecasts, and a more effective and efficient program of work for our customers.”

“We are thrilled to welcome TasNetworks to our growing community of clients in the Asia Pacific region,” said Judi Hess, Copperleaf CEO. “TasNetworks’ reputation as a forward-thinking company dedicated to customer service is something we can relate to at Copperleaf, and we look forward to a long and successful collaboration.”

“Having TasNetworks join the Copperleaf Community is very exciting for us. We are really proud to have earned the trust of such an innovative company that is going to be so important to Australia’s sustainable energy future,” added Paul Sakrzewski, Managing Director of Copperleaf, Asia Pacific and Japan. “We’re looking forward to helping TasNetworks optimize its asset investment planning practices to continue delivering sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable electricity to its customers today and into the future.”
