Stromnetz Hamburg Selects Copperleaf to Implement Integrated Asset Management Software (iAMS)
Vancouver, BC, July 21, 2021—The Copperleaf® Decision Analytics Solution has been selected by Stromnetz Hamburg GmbH, the owner and operator of the 29,500 km electricity distribution network (110 kV down to 0.4 kV) in Hamburg, Germany. Stromnetz Hamburg invests €250 million per year to modernize its distribution network in support of renewable energy expansion. As a 100% municipal company of Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg, Stromnetz Hamburg supports the ecological, energy, and environmental policy goals of the city and actively shapes the energy transition.
Stromnetz Hamburg implemented a Management System for Asset Management which was certified in 2013. The Copperleaf solution will enable Stromnetz Hamburg to enhance its existing planning process with advanced capabilities for risk-based prioritization and optimization of the project portfolio considering internal and external constraints.
