Copperleaf Ranks on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ and Fast 500™

Vancouver, BC, November 16, 2016—Copperleaf is named one of Canada’s fastest growing technology companies in the 19th annual Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ awards for demonstrating bold innovation, dedicated leadership and strong growth. Copperleaf ranked 43rd with a 300 percent revenue growth from 2012 to 2015. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program celebrates leaders in the Canadian technology industry and tracks the successful growth of Canadian-grown leaders.

Copperleaf also ranked number 342 in the broader Deloitte North American Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the continent’s 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies.

To qualify for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking, companies must have been in business for at least four years, have revenues of at least $5 million, be headquartered in Canada, own proprietary technology, conduct research and development activities in Canada and invest a minimum of five percent of gross revenues in R&D.

Overall, 2016 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 121 percent to 66,661 percent from 2012 to 2015, with an average growth rate of 290 percent.

Technology Fast 500™ provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies – both public and private – in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2012 to 2015.
