Vancouver, BC, May 5, 2017—Copperleaf Technologies has been chosen as a finalist for the BC Tech Association’s 2017 Technology Impact Awards (TIAs). The TIAs celebrate the successes of the tech industry and the companies, people and innovation that continue to put British Columbia on the map. There are ten award categories, divided amongst four distinct groups: Technology, Company, Personal Recognition, and People’s Choice.
Copperleaf and the BC Government submitted a joint application in the Adoption of Technology category. This award acknowledges a solution that has significantly improved the productivity, competitiveness, or profitability of the customer’s company.
The government invests more than $430 million annually in IT to bring the best-quality services to British Columbians. Their Information Management / Information Technology (IM/IT) Capital Investment Branch selected the Copperleaf C55 decision analytics solution to help them plan, manage and optimize their investments more strategically.
“We’re honored to be named a finalist at this year’s TIAs. Our work with the BC Government has been particularly exciting because the investment decisions being made in C55 have an impact on us personally as BC citizens,” said Judi Hess, CEO of Copperleaf. “This is the only award category that requires tech companies to jointly submit with a client, and we’re thrilled to have a partner that has been so collaborative and look forward to sharing this recognition with the BC Government.”
“This has been an outstanding year for our industry and our 2017 TIAs finalists are a reflection of the incredible calibre and diversity of tech companies in BC,” said Bill Tam, BC Tech President and CEO. “These companies are a clear demonstration of the strength of the tech sector and the incredible innovation that is taking place across the province.”
Winners will be announced June 22nd at the 24th annual Technology Impact Awards Gala. The complete list of finalists is available here.
