Stan Coleman Hired as VP Solutions at CopperLeaf Technologies

Vancouver, BC – CopperLeaf Technologies Inc., a leading provider of asset investment planning solutions, has hired Stan Coleman as vice president, solutions.

Coleman comes to CopperLeaf from Kodak, where he was general manager of the unified workflow software development team. He was one of the many talented engineers who led the growth of Burnaby-based Creo Inc. and stayed on with Kodak following its acquisition of the graphic arts technology company in 2005.

After joining Creo in 1996, he worked as co-architect, then co-project engineer, and ultimately project manager for the Prinergy® prepress workflow management system. Prinergy has since been installed at more than 5000 sites worldwide and is recognized as the premier system of its kind. He subsequently spent a year as engineering manager for printing workflow solutions, overseeing 150 employees and all research and development activity in Canada.

In 2003, Coleman was named corporate vice-president, printing workflow solutions at Creo, leading a global team of 300 and taking on full responsibility for profit-and-loss. Under his leadership (and new Kodak title of general manager), the group grew to deliver more than $150 million USD in annual revenues.

In his early career, Coleman spent ten years with MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), working with and leading teams delivering maritime coastal defence systems, aeronautical information systems, and satellite data analysis systems.

He holds an honours bachelor’s degree in applied science with a major in engineering physics from the University of British Columbia.
